Mosco wine

Mosco 2018

"Disappearance Warning" Umbria, Italy

A voluptuous blend of 50% Moscato Giallo (a strain of Muscat) and 50% Trebbiano make this dangerously drinkable Orange wine. The One month long maceration is responsible for the dark golden colour and releases concentrated goodness from these grapes; exotic aromas of apricot, mango and passion fruit. The palate has a bright structure with great tension, the sweetness of the fruit is countered beautifully by measured acidity and a touch of bitterness on the finish. This wine is addictive, and typically disappears from the bottle all-too-quickly. The production is tiny - enjoy them whilst they are here. This wine has a good prospect to develop well over 2-3 years of ageing in good conditions.

Delicious Orange wine!

Really opens up in the glass which brings out lovely passion fruit aromas and smoothens out the finish.

Complex but extremely easy drinking.

Could get even better with a few years in the bottle. xxx
