Crozes Hermitage 2022

This a project between the legendary natural wine pioneers in the northern rhone, Dard & Ribo, with the organic grower Frederic Pierro. A luscious, silky Syrah - textbook Crozes Hermitage with added purity/intensity. Heaps of ripe black fruit including blackberry, black currant and blueberry accompanied by some savoury spice notes. Naturally high acidity provides balance and finesse. The finish has hints of leather and smoke. A young Syrah with a huge potential for further ageing.
