The word Medoc is enough to have natural wine enthusiasts running for the hills. Years of sprayed, commercially tuned wine in this region have made it a symbol of all that has gone wrong with the over-commercialisation of Bordeaux, to a point where consumers lost trust. Fortunately for our customers, we do the leg work to get you purely made natural wines, stigmas aside. Didier Michaud enjoys phoning his friends in Paris to put his wines in blind tastings with "prestigious" Bordeaux's. He loves seeing educated sommeliers at awe. Planquette is made from certified organic Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a small amount of Petit Verdot. An excellent, pleasurable Bordeaux. Didier says this wine can be aged for 10-15 years, we couldn't wait. We do, however, recommend opening the bottle as long as you can before drinking (A few hours where possible)
