Nero Weißwein 2022
A fantastic wine by the Seckinger brothers in the Pfalz/palatinate wine region of Germany. A blend Muskateller & Gewurztraminer that were whole-bunch macerated for 2 weeks with Weissburgunder (AKA pinot Blanc) that was directly pressed.
Delicious, easy drinking and full of flavour, just the kind of happy wine that would keep you and yours entertained. And with a mere 11.5% you can also have a cheeky mid-week glass. No need to worry as this wine stays nice and stable for a few days after opening!
Guet Apens
Guet Apens is a remarkable blend of some of Alsace’s most famous grape varieties: Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Riesling, and Sylvaner. This biodynamic wine is wonderfully aromatic and tropical, making it irresistible on a summery day. The taste is a delightful combination of fruit, citrus, and wildflower notes, complemented by subtle hints of herbs and a distinctive mineral finish. Crafted with whole clusters and direct press, this cuvée is the result of co-fermentation and aged for 12 months in old oak barrels. It is made without additives, unfiltered, with only a small addition of sulphur at bottling. The farming practices are both organic and biodynamic.
La Vie en Rose 2021
Laurent Bannwarth with yet another rare example of just how pure of an expression you can get in Alsace. Gewurztraminer from his best plots, rigorously sorted with the highest quality bunches selected for this cuvee. 20 days on skin contact followed by 10 months raising on fine lees.
Very cloudy, intense amber colour, scintillating aromas of candied orange peel, rose petals, souk spices, clove and a touch of zaafran. The palate is intense and powerful yet with a dash of freshness to deliver excellent drinkability. A beautifully complex and special orange wine that pairs well with oriental cuisine.
We recommend serving lightly chilled (about 40-50 minutes in the fridge) and opening 15 minutes before drinking.

Weisser Meinklang 2020
A lovely orange wine made from a blend of Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris (pinot Grigio) and Welschriesling. Nice, tempting aromas of floral white fruit with a touch of exotic fruit, the palate is fluid, dry and sharp with pleasant nuances of citrus peel and fresh green apple. Fresh and very drinkable.
