An orange wine made from the pink-skinned Pinot Gris variety meaning that with the extended skin contact during the fermentation process, we get a lovely dark pink colour. If you are after a fruity expression this will Not be the natural wine for you. On the other hand, it is mind-boggling good; delightful and gentle earthy notes dotted by slight touches of spice and wild forest berries. The acidity is explosive but not overpowering however the real magic lies in what the French call "material" (usually means the consistency/viscosity) - You will find yourself wondering why you can't stop pouring it into your glass.
