For those of us who still aren't familiar with the rising star grape variety of Burgundy, the Aligoté, this is a great opportunity to jump in and see how what the fuss is all about. A well balanced white wine; it juggles freshness, fruitiness and a touch of complexity to make a very enjoyable and agreeable experience. The attraction that sets it a level up (and really justifies the Burgundy title) is the crystal clarity and purity of the palate, it's quite stunning.
