This Gewurztraminer white wine comes from an excellent terroir in Barr, Alsace: the Graffengritt, of clay-limestone nature, facing north. It has been macerated in whole bunch to give it freshness and balance.
In the glass the colour is bright yellow and cloudy. The nose is very expressive bursting with orange blossom, oriental spices and dried mango. The mouth is round, fleshy, surprisingly luscious, with a gourmet, fruity flavour, concentrated along with freshness and tone. The finish is tense, concentrated, quite dry, with more marked floral and spicy notes that linger. Serve chilled, excellent pairing with Caribbean cuisine and Chinese food.
