Macon-Vinzelles Les Morandes 2021

An outright delicious Macon-Vinzelles by Domaine Tripoz and a great example of how a completely natural wine can sometime come with quite a boring label. Very reminiscent of a Chardonnay from Jura in the juiciness/roundness on the palate and balanced maturity of the fruit. As there was no use of new oak you get a pure and uninterrupted expression. "Les Morandes is a Lieu-dit characterized by very calcareous soil. Our cuvée strongly expresses this minerality and goes well with anything that comes from the sea."
