CÔTES DU RHÔNE BIO
Our best seller from Rhone Valley and for a good reason. A fantastic fruity combination of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan that leaves very little to be desired. It is an extremely generous red wine in all departments with a dark purple colour, seductive black fruit aromas and a velvety, round palate to complete a classic Rhone valley and certified organic wine. For under £10. Goes well with Steaks, pizza and mildly spicy food. We recommend serving at 16-18C
A magnificent red wine from the sunny terroir of Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland, Austria. Delicately balanced fruitiness and acidity on a texture that walks between the silky and juicy; It presents a translucent purple colour in the glass, gentle aromas of black forest fruit, a touch of leather and prune compote and a satisfying sip that stretches the pleasure.
Lovely, approachable and very drinkable natural red wine. We recommend opening and decanting it 1-3 hours before drinking to soften the tannins and allow the aroma to release in room temperature. It is elaborated from Grenache and Tempranillo in equal measures that create an intense, young natural red wine. We think can benefit from a few years of ageing.
CUVEE DES GALETS
Probably because it is such fantastic value; this red wine seems to have made a name for itself as a solid, affordable table red. This vintage is made from traditional Rhone varieties with 50% Grenache blended with Syrah (Shiraz), Carignan, Mourverde and Cinsault. Soft tannins, lovely dark fruit on the nose and excellent drinkability that will keep a meal or house party merry.
