The variety of Beaujolais natural wines has been getting better and better as independent winemakers redefine the region. Cyril Alonzo and Florian Looze started P-U-R (Production-Unique-Rebelle) to make wine from the best organically farmed plots across the Rhône, Mâcon, Burgundy and Beaujolais. Their wines are made purely and naturally and are seriously terroir-driven, seeking to showcase the quality of their grapes. PUR produces a wide range of micro-cuvées, all more amazing than the others, with a real personality. Productions levels are relatively small.
