The Big Gilou

"Big Flavour - Low Alcohol" VDF (Roussillon), France
The Big Gilou

A Grenache from Roussillon has always had a worm corner in our hearts, as different from Grenache coming from other regions in Southern France and Spain, always juicier, rounder and less rustic. This wine delivers on the above with tons of pulling power (pair with lamb for example) at a mere 12.0%, great! Long, velvety finish with a touch of melted tannins. Serve just under room temperature (10 minutes in the fridge) and open 5-10 minutes before serving. You can also decant/carafe this wine to help it aerate quicker.
