Pure & expressive almost classic Cabernet Sauvignon profile along with a touch of freshness and beautiful, chalky tannins that offer grip and prolong the finish on the palate. A fantastic meeting of complexity and drinkability, we’ve enjoyed every single drop of this wine. Serve slightly chilled (15-20 minutes in the fridge)
Guet Apens
Guet Apens is a remarkable blend of some of Alsace’s most famous grape varieties: Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Riesling, and Sylvaner. This biodynamic wine is wonderfully aromatic and tropical, making it irresistible on a summery day. The taste is a delightful combination of fruit, citrus, and wildflower notes, complemented by subtle hints of herbs and a distinctive mineral finish. Crafted with whole clusters and direct press, this cuvée is the result of co-fermentation and aged for 12 months in old oak barrels. It is made without additives, unfiltered, with only a small addition of sulphur at bottling. The farming practices are both organic and biodynamic.

Icarus 2021
Riesling orange wines are surprisingly hard to come by considering that this variety is quite common in Alsace and Germany; maybe because they are so well recognised as white wines? In any event, we are extremely pleased that Vincent Stoeffler decided to release Icarus in his growing selection of orange wines. Icarus 2021 is an exceptional wine in more than one way; a relatively short, whole-berry maceration of 8 days in Amphora produces a a serious yet extremely drinkable wine. Concentrated and rich on the palate, exuding flavours of green apples and pears with a touch of citrus and rose. Serve chilled but not very cold (10-12c, about 30 -40 minutes in the fridge), and open 10-15 minutes before opening. If you have a decanter or a carafe, dont hesitate to use them. Do so in thirds (as opposed to the entire bottle at once). A mere few hundreds of the beauty were made. Excellent ageing potential.
