It might suffice to say that this wine is named just about exactly as it tastes and smells; a burst of ripe exotic fruit as if taken directly from the head-gear of the legendary Carmen Miranda. A blend of 4 near-extinct white varieties carefully blended by Jesus (the reclusive-visionary owner of Bodega Recuero) and macerated on the skins for 4 weeks in a mixture of cement and stainless steel tanks, with 85% destemmed and the rest as whole-bunch. A special edition of a mere 2,200 bottles. We recommend serving chilled but not very cold (about 45 minutes in the fridge).
