A delicate and surprisingly refined Aligoté coming from domaine Tripoz’s plots in Macon-Loché, southern Burgundy. Maconnais is known for great value Chardonnays however this wine has got to be up there with the best of them.
Bone-dry, the palate is gentle, round and the same time sharp and direct. The mid-palate delivers mouthwatering acidity with an explosive hint of exotic fruit and onto a surprisingly long and very consistent finish.
Excellent pairing with seafood and baked white fish and also dishes of melted cheeses such raclette, fondue, etc. We recommend serving cold and opening 5-10 minutes before drinking.
