Amics Bonics translates to Good Friends in Catalan, the land that this little wonder of white wine comes from. Expertly crafted by Josep and Alba of Celler Dasca Vives (our good friends), a blend of 80% Macabeo and 20% Vinyater - a very rare variety cultivated almost exclusively by them. It is by far the best vintage of this wine they produced and dare we say one of the best white wines coming from Catalonia right now. Dry and fresh with bundles of ripe fruity notes such as yellow pear and honeydew melon, with a delightfully long finish. One of those magical wines coming from a hot place that gives you an enchanting feeling of light sweetness without actually containing any residual sugar. Brilliantly balanced, we recommend serving chilled and pairing with an array of foods from hard, yellow cheese through grilled white fish to Mediterranean salads.
