BCDC Carbo Loulou is a blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Garnacha Tintorera and 20% Tempranillo coming from the family's 100+ year-old vines in Ribebra.
A limited, special production (vintage 2018) of 650 bottles, of which a handful arrived on our shores. Big, bold, Juicy and bursting with uninterrupted fruitiness. Delightful.
The winemaking process: Whole cluster, carbonic maceration for 20 days followed by pressing and alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in Stainless Steel tank. Matured for 5 months in old French barrels of 500L. Bottled in September 2020 and laid down for a few months of rest before release.
