Cuvee GPS 2022

"CODE GPS" AOC Cotes Du Jura, France
Cuvee GPS 2022

GPS stands for the 3 Jura varieties used in this Natural wine - Savagnin, Poulsard and.. G for chardonnay?! In some regions of Jura Chardonnay used to be called "Gamay Blanc"; just slang? Maybe not, as chardonnay can be traced back to the same parent varieties. The secret of this wine is co-plantation - the different varieties are planted on the same plot, harvested at the same time, vinified and aged together. The result is a very attractive wine with pleasant aromas of acacia honey and candied citrus, the palate is slender with good tension, It could almost remind you of champagne without the bubbles.
We recommend serving chilled (around 8-10C) and serving with a variety of dishes such as creamy poultry, baked fish and cheese bakes.
