Crunchy, fun and fruity red wine (not sparkling) that is both very pure and very agreeable at the same time; which can come in handy when looking to introduce someone who isn’t familiar with natural wine. A 100% Tempranillo from Alt-Emporda which is a stand-out terroir in Catalonia, that spent 7 days in carbonic maceration (a technique that highlights the fruit character and creates light red wines) all under the watchful eye of Barbara, the talented winemaker of Celler La Gutina. Serve chilled. Excellent aperitif before a meal or on a picnic with some fresh fruit and mild cheese/charcuterie. The only downside is the availability which is scarce.
