Didier Grappe, based in St Lothian in Jura (set within AOC Cotes du Jura), has been quietly making excellent, terroir-driven wines that have a garnered worldwide following. This Chardonnay Longefin displays fresh green apples and a touch of honey combined on the palate served on sharp acidity that explodes with purity. A good drink now and with superb ageing potential. Great pairing with cheese and charcuterie boards. This natural wine evolves over 2-3 days after opening which can be good for mid-week drinking.
