Nita 2022 is a distinctive red wine made from 100% Saperavi grapes sourced from the organically farmed vineyards of Khashmi in Georgia's Kakheti region. At an altitude of 700 meters, the grapes undergo a 10-day semi-carbonic maceration, followed by fermentation in traditional qvevri (amphorae). This process yields a medium-bodied wine with a deep garnet hue and violet reflections. On the nose, it offers vibrant aromas of raspberries, wild strawberries, and licorice. The palate is fresh and delicate, featuring smooth tannins and a crisp, sappy finish. Unfined, unfiltered, and with minimal sulphur, only 2,200 bottles were produced.
