Gutturnio Superiore 2020

A classy, big Italian red that is sure to delight both natural wine connoisseurs and lovers of conventional, fine Italian wine. The Bulli winery is based in the small village of Bacedasco very close to Piacenza, in the wine region of Emilia-Romagna. Its a stone throw away from firm natural wine prestige such as La Stoppa, Denavolo and others. An equal blend of Bonarda (AKA Croatina) and Barbera from low yielding, old vines growing on clayey  –  sandy soils. Harvested at optimum maturity followed by destemming and gentle pressing, maceration on the skins for about 20 days in steel tanks, bottled unfined and unfiltered.  Exceptionally silky and delightfully fruity with an very high drinkability. Wide, deep and generous with melted tannins and satisfyingly long, consistent finish. Serve at room temperature with heart meals.
