A lot of us spend quite a lot of time (and money) in search for that "promised bottle"; the legend of Burgundy Chardonnay, that perfect champagne, that addictive orange wine etc. This bottle certainly delivers on its Burgundy promise - very pale yellow appearance in the glass, gentle cloudiness that promises livelihood. Mineral aromas with glimpses of honeyed grapefruit, citrus peel and fresh, toasted green apples along with a tiny touch of nervous acidity. Very alluring and elegant. The palate is ample, lively and invigorating; the attack is gentle, caressing almost unassuming, yet the mod pallet is where the magic really happens - an electrifying explosion of exotic fruit. The finish is long and satisfying with notes of honey and a touch of salinity. A very addictive bottle thats fantastic value for money. We recommend serving chilled and opening 10-15 before drinking.
