Ni dieu ni maître ni sulfite

Ni dieu ni maître ni sulfite

"Neither God Nor Master Nor Sulphite" VDF Languedoc-Russillon, France

A raw beauty. Alban Michel's wines have been well known within the "close" circles of natural wine connoisseurs for years, for being well-crafted juice of character and a little crazy, just like the winemaker himself. Lovers of free-flowing, juicy reds will mark this a very strong favourite. A blend of dominant Carignan with Grenache and Syrah. Open an hour before drinking and serve lightly chilled (16C)

Alban Michel started Domaine Sabots d'Helene in 2005 with a simple view of producing organically farmed, pure natural wines. The methods Alban uses are based on a low yield policy, systematic harvesting at optimum maturity, very gentle extractions in wine-making that best respect the balance of the grapes and the quality of the fruit. The wines are unique and characterful, Alban's talented touch apparent in all of them - nothing added and nothing taken away. Productions are small.
