A full, satisfying and delicious Greek red that is both classic and unique at the same time. Having spent circa 6 months in old wooden barrels and further time in the bottle, it's now at its prime. On the nose, an array of mature dark berries, prune compote and a touch of clove & spice, all of which continuing seminally onto the pallet. The consistency (material) is silky and round with a prolonged finish containing fully melted tannins. It is pleasantly unique within the Greek Red wine landscape because it offers all of the power and flavour whilst being fresh and superbly digestible. Domaine Tatsis release their wines exactly when at their peak and produce them low-intervention with painstaking attention to all the small details. We recommend serving just under room temperature, decanting welcomed. Excellent pairing with roast meals.
