Dogo 2020

Morgon is one of the Crus of Beaujolais known for its granitic soil grown gamays yielding denser reds than the rest of Beaujolais, and a some of the big names in the natural wine world. There is also a very small percentage of white varieties in Morgon such as this Chardonnay. Clément Gilles, the man behind the Negocé "Club des Terres" is based in the Ardéche and focused on Ardéch varieties / expressions. This is, therefore, a slight deviation however an interesting one. A tiny quantity made, Dogo 2020 is focused and somewhat of a powerful wine for its 12.0%. Expect a classic Chardonnay flavour on a soft yet direct profile. We recommend served serving chilled.
