The wild and diverse land that make Sicily is known to produce a wide array of wines such as Marsala and volcanic wines from mount Etna to name a few. Red wines are mostly bold, powerful and tannic with mostly the exception of one red grape variety; the Frappato. This 100% Frappato spent 12 day fermenting and a further 12 months in concrete tanks. The result is a soft and delicate red wine that is silky and smooth. Fruity with fully melted tannins, a comforting wine to spend a nice cosy evening with. Serve at room temperature.
