Heresy Weiss

What an adorable and fantastic wine, so much delicacy & character and with only 9.5% (!) - a real winner. Gemischter Satz which is an Austrian term for field blend, in this case 20 varieties, along with a splash of Muscat. Its important to open this bottle about 10 minutes before drinking, that way its showing with all its glory. You'll get an almost classic Weinviertel flavour profile (green apples, pears and a touch of quince) served on a pristinely pure and clean palate - it really reminded us of the purity you get in wines from the alps. Serve it chilled and pair with pretty much anything that comes from the sea and seasoned with salt and lemon (maybe note trout / salmon). Delicious!
