Intenso 2015

This wine comes from a region not often spoken about especially when it comes to natural winemaking – Umbria. Right in the centre of Italy, wines from this area are often thought of as heavy, full-bodied reds. This is not the case with the Intenso. Dark cherry seeps luxuriously onto the palate, supported by an earthy minerality which goes to create a bottle of incredible value. This is a natural red wine with absolutely no intervention (disregard the mundane label) and one that is really comfortable in its own skin. We would recommend serving it with the lightest, red meat or game dishes.
