Kosmonaut is an ultra-drinkable (Glu Glu) rosé wine made from the lesser-known Andre variety. The wine undergoes a swift, twenty- four-hour-long maceration after the grapes have been de-stemmed and crushed. There is then no intervention as the wine matures in old oak barrels for seven months. The result is a deep pink colour and flavours of strawberry and cream that flower into a long, slightly acidic finish. You'd be pleasantly satisfied and magnetised by this natural wine which is all-so-addictive without being at the centre of the stage; think about the best background music as opposed to a concert.
This is an ideal wine to start a barbecue and one that tends to be a crowd-pleaser. Chill it right down and pair with a few good friends (or a charcuterie board).
