Le Grand Geai 2019

A new and very exciting find by our sommelier. The credentials are impressive: Certified organic and biodynamic, Appellation controlled and beautiful presentation. The wines? As impressive if not more. "Not so common to succeed all that". The entry-level wine by Le Geai, that spent less time in the barrel. The same blend and vinification methods are used (Ever so slightly different assembly): 68% Merlot, 20% Cab Sauvignon, 6% Malbec, 6% Carménère. A complex nose with a slender yet robust fruit. Surprisingly soft and harmonious finish. It should cost more, excellent value! We recommend opening and decanting 1-2 hours at least before drinking, serve lightly chilled.
