Clément Gilles is a young winemaker that grew up "between vines" in the Ardéche and is subsequently obsessed with the Northern Rhone. As such, and despite his young age, we can clearly feel the way he guides his wines to highlight the very best of what an Ardéche wine can (and should) be. Connoisseurs of naturally made Northern Rhone wines would place SYDRO somewhere between Dard and Ribo and Herve Souhaut. With its tiny production, this wine is savoured in a number of Michelin Star restaurant in Lyon.
50/50 Syrah and Grenache - Soft, silky and warm it appears to fill & envelope the entire palate with luxurious red and dark fruit with a touch of black pepper. As it evolves over 1-2-3+ hours the Syrah slowly takes over, showing more complexity on the same silky, clean texture. We recommend serving at room temperature.
