Sometimes the stars seem to align perfectly for certain wines; the conditions during the vintage were excellent, the harvest went on time and as planned, and a talented winemaker decided to try a new approach that proved to be no short of sensational. Juan Jose (Juanjo), the winemaker, decided for the first time to make this wine completely in Amphora vessels; not exactly traditional for Tempranillo or any red wine in these parts of the world. Some were suspicious that Juanjo is merely trying to "play the amphora card", a method that is gathering popularity anew. We hope that you would like to be the judge of this absolutely beautiful result - An explosive and lively red wine that manages to be powerful and delicious whilst being invigorating and complex at the same time. A tiny production of one of the best red wines coming out of Spain these days. Maybe in the world.
