A fresh, juicy and lean red from Dao in Portugal where the relatively high elevation produces lower alcohol wines, somewhat reminiscent of a young Beaujolais. Spicy, smoky aromas giving way to layers of red berries, roses and black tea The palate is crunchy and mineral yet with firm acidity and grip. we recommend serving chilled, about 20-30 minutes in the fridge. Pairs very well with any grilled sausages.
