Vieux Macvin du Jura

"old Macvin" is a traditional sweet, fortified natural wine in the Jura region obtained from majority Chardonnay with a small amount of Savagnin. The year isn't allowed to be stated on the bottle, but we can tell you that it has spent a number of years in old Burgundy barrels and bottled 9! years ago.
It's a special vintage as it presents all of the brandy qualities you would expect along with freshness and wholesome integration of the alcohol. Explosive aromas of exotic fruit and pine forest followed by a caressing palate filled with an array of dried fruit flavours. Excellent value for money. Can age for decades in a good cellar.
