This bottle of natural wine is a great example of the talent, quality of fruit and ingenuity of Domaine Lous Grezes. This maceration of Chardonnay (unusual vinification for the variety and one that curiously makes it tricky to detect if you tasted this blind.) It is light, delicious and drinkable, all good adjectives when talking about wine, however, it packs that bit extra of complexity and purity that makes it stand out. Notes of fresh peach, nectarine and citrus delight the palate along with welcome mineral complexity. The Lous Grezes vineyard has experienced a few years of very low yield due to unfavourable conditions, but the quality of fruit being is superb. We recommend serving this chilled with grilled chicken dishes or seafood.
