Le Rouge des Cornus 2019

This bottle is an excellent example of a classic, very pure Cabernet Franc and one that will impress even those conventional wine drinkers trying natural wine for the first time. It is your textbook Loire Valley Cab Franc and you can expect a very ripe fruit expression accompanied by a touch of green notes and welcomed spice. It gives the best of both worlds; power and concentration along with a degree of lightness and drinkability. This is a wine that requires twenty minutes to open and continues to evolve over hours and days, delivering extra layers of aroma and a wonderfully silky mouthfeel.

Decanting is encouraged where possible, can be served ever so lightly chilled (5-10 minutes in the fridge). Excellent pair with grilled meats seasoned with only salt and blank pepper.
