"Velue" is the old name for Velm - the name of the village and the willow trees growing there along the creek, but for all, we care it may well translate to VALUE. This is the entry-level Gruner Veltliner by Johannes Zillinger but the quality of his winemaking shines bright. Gruner can sometimes produce sharp, slightly rustic whites wines, however, Velue is delicate and gentle uncomplicated drinking and fun. Easygoing 11.5% alc that is packed with fresh apples, pears with a hint of yellow flowers. Serve chilled but not very cold.
